yet another wk has passed.. been piahing for a presentation, only to get informed its been shifted to after mid sem, then to get informed again its today, fri. faints. sometimes dunno wt the lecturer is thinking... on wed concluded the final episode of the Pharmacy Practice III Golden Glode Awards. pp3 is interesting this sem, tho tough, cos we are given case studies and there is no correct ans on how we do treatment of xxx condition, and rationale behind the treatment / dose / tapering / goodness knows what. most of the time we dun even get the suggested ans; everyone is getting atrocious marks. really burn many nights doing pp3 - 3 cases a week. faints. then groups will role play out the story, with one person acting as stupid patient, another as the pharmacist(s) and another as narrator / doctor / other roles. zyz played a dog.
needlesstosay, there was tough competition for the best actress award like huiyu acting as a gruff old mr. tan w asthma & her demo of how to use the inhaler by spraying it in the air then trying to gulp down the mist. and our miss yap huirei as mrs boney who had a bent back & complained all thruout the 'pharmacy visit'. she kept saying "aiyoooo aiyooo". xq also was funny being a young hot mama with scabies which she thought was an STD.
the guys were equally hilarious when they cross dressed as old women etc.. david bagged it. he actually looks pretty. & how david & bk grp did a video of how they played soccer to relate it to his ankle injury. and sweesung took davids towel of sweat & grinned happily. quek's grp was hilarious harping on poor pay of $5/day and how the student, played by phua, pack shelves, then explained the rationale behind treatment, then went back to packing shelves. hahhha. amazing how crappy we are - and resourceful; using m&m's as pills & borrowing each other's shawls & wigs... and garish pink dresses which the guys happily wore. usual scenario : patient comes in (laugh). patient talks in falsetto voice (laugh). sometimes it just feels like we are watching skit all thruout the 3 hrs, not really a lesson but laughter session, until of course the debrief... damn funny, esp when we joke about medical conditions... debrief damn siong la, got 3 profs, & they all hv different treatment conclusions somemore...
wanna thank my group, for the past 4 weeks tt we hv been suffering tog. the late nights, the one million emails and one million edits. and also for the acting last wk which was very well done i must say *hug.. thx for everyone chipping in to write the script tog, esp mich teo & sher the pharmacists.. esp sher who came up with the crap i had to say as i played old woman tan ah por with lung disease.. haha. hard work, i think i rehersed with sher like 5 times, but worth it! =)

- calls pharmacist later in a panic to say her reading 350
- pharm asks wt reading, she replies 'tan ah por reading'
i think i forgot all the (bad) jokes that we made... oh faints. pp3 is finally over!!!!
the "choppers" went early to chop seat at ikea.. heehee meat balls yummy.
